Welcome to SpeechPath's privacy policy. Our mission is to make spoken English accessible to those with hearing disabilities by providing a tool that they can feel safe using. This means that you don't have to worry that your personal data is being collected, misused, or sold without your permission. This also means that we are not, and never will be, benefiting from selling your data. This privacy policy will allow you to be knowledgeable about how your data is being used while using our services.

However, when create a Path, the app will collect necessary information such as your tag, duration, and difficulty preferences, in addition to some metadata such as timestamp(s), internal ID(s), and the name you assigned. All this user-created data is stored on your device locally. We do not have access to this data.


When you use the SpeechPath app as an alpha tester

When using our app via TestFlight as an alpha tester, information such as your device type, OS version, current battery level, crash and diagnostics data may be collected and shared with us. This data won't be used to track you in any way and will only be used internally for development purposes such as identifying and fixing bugs and crashes.


When you apply for Alpha Testing

When you apply on our website, we collect your name, email, and occupation to select our alpha testers and contact you to join the testing if you're selected. This Personal Data will not be used in any different ways or purposes and will only be used internally.


When you use our website
